We use neutral pH detergents on painted timber, plaster and encaustic tiling, and we keep steam away from anything old. Bleach and caustic degreaser stay in the kitchen, where they belong.
Can you clean stained glass in the front door?
Gently, by hand, with a neutral cleaner and no scraping. Old leadwork is fragile, and a hard scrub is how panels start to rattle.
