One Off Deep Cleaning in Chiswick W4
A full deep clean from £186, two cleaners for three hours plus materials, with no ongoing commitment
What a deep clean costs and where the money goes
A one off deep clean starts at £186. That is two cleaners for three hours at £26 per cleaner per hour, plus £30 for materials and machine hire on the visit. Longer jobs are the same £26 an hour for each cleaner, agreed before we start. The minimum charge on any small one off job, a single oven or one carpet, is £67.
A deep clean is not the weekly visit done slowly. It goes at the things a regular clean never reaches: inside the kitchen cupboards, behind the washing machine, the extractor filter, limescale in the toilet trap, the tops of doors and wardrobes, window frames and the runners underneath them. In a Chiswick flat with hard water at roughly 300 ppm, half the visible improvement comes from descaling alone, and that is slow work done properly with an acid gel and a dwell time rather than a spray and a wipe.
Three quarters of our one off work in W4 falls into two groups. Owners who have just had building work done and are staring at plaster dust on every surface, and people preparing a flat for a viewing or a valuation. After builders is the harder of the two, because dust settles twice, so we clean, wait, and clean again, and we allow more hours for it up front instead of pretending it can be done in three.
Common reasons people book
- Builders, decorators or a new bathroom
- A flat going on the market next week
- Before a new tenant arrives mid-tenancy
- A spring clean that has been put off twice
- After a party or a family Christmas
- A relative moving back in after a spell in hospital
What gets done
- Kitchen cupboards emptied, cleaned inside and out
- Oven, hob and extractor degreased
- Bathroom descaled, grout scrubbed, sealant checked
- Skirtings, door frames, switches and radiators
- Windows inside, including frames and sills
- High level dusting, light fittings included
How we plan a deep clean
We ask what the problem is
A three bed flat that has had a kitchen fitted needs a different plan from a two bed that has simply been neglected. Tell us which rooms are the worst and we will start there while everyone is fresh.
Hours agreed in advance
We quote the number of cleaners and the number of hours before the day, so the invoice holds no surprises. If we finish early you pay for the time booked, and if the job is bigger than described we call you before running over.
Top down, wet last
Dust falls. Light fittings and picture rails come first, floors come last, and the bathroom gets done twice because descaler needs time to work while other rooms are underway.
Walk round before we go
Whoever is leading the job checks each room and fixes anything missed on the spot. You get a list of what was done and anything we could not shift.

* After builders work is priced the same way with more hours allowed, because the dust settles twice. Moving out is a different service and is priced by property size: see end of tenancy cleaning. Ongoing help is cheaper per hour on a regular weekly or fortnightly booking.
Deep cleaning questions
How long will it take?
A two bed flat in reasonable order is four to six hours with two cleaners. A neglected three bed house is a full day. After builders, add a third again on top of whatever you were expecting.
Do you bring everything?
Yes, machines and products included, which is what the £30 materials charge covers. Water and a socket are all we need from you.
Can carpets be done at the same time?
They can, priced per room from £36, and they go last so nothing gets walked over. There is more detail on the carpet cleaning page.
How much notice do you need?
A week is comfortable, and short notice is often possible midweek. Fridays and the last few days of the month go first, because that is when tenancies end and everyone wants a cleaner.
Is a deep clean enough to get a deposit back?
Not necessarily. Agents compare the flat with the check-in inventory, and an end of tenancy clean is priced and structured around that comparison. If you are moving out, book that instead and we will tell you so on the phone.
